Alessandra Angelini was born in Parma in 1953. Since 2005 she has been professor of Graphics and Printmaking at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in Milan. She now lives and works between Milan and Pavia. After a classical education she graduated in Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera. The artist tried her hand at different means of expression: painting, printmaking and digitalfine art sculpture and photography. For each one she went deep into the techniques and their possible associations, creating fusion Read Mores among the procedures and consequently hybrid works. She created many artist books. The most recent one is: IL GIARDINO È APERTO/THE GARDEN IS OPEN, the 50th edition of CENTO AMICI DEL LIBRO, which has been presented at the Braidense National Library of Milan in the series of events for Expo 2015. She exhibited in many solo and group events in Italy and abroad in four continents; her works are present in the collections of important national and international museums.
