Biography:

Painting studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk at the Faculty of Painting and Graphic Arts, major painting. She defended her MA in 1979. Since that time connected with the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. She runs her own Intaglio Printmaking Studio at the Academy. In 2013, she received from the President of the Republic of Poland the title of professor in the field of Fine Arts. Her fields of artistic creation are printmaking, drawing, painting, and photography of nature. Her works have been presented in 41 so Read Morelo exhibitions and more than 160 group exhibitions in Poland, Germany, Czech Republic, England, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Monaco, the Netherlands, Japan, Korea, China, India, Canada, and the USA. Laureate of 37 awards and distinctions. Jury member of many printmaking competitions. In 2015, she received Medal of honor “Merit for Polish Culture” and in 2019 she received Medal “Meritorious to Culture Gloria Artis”, given by Minister of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland.
