Alina Jackiewicz-Kaczmarek


Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk – Faculty of Painting and Graphics, major – painting, received her M.A. degree in 1979. Since that time connected with the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. In 1990 she received a PH.D, then in 1999 she obtains degree of habilitated doctor. She is a head of studio of intaglio-print. In 2013, she received from the President of the Republic of Poland the title of professor in field of Fine Arts. Her main fields of interest are: printmaking, drawing, painting and photo Read Moregraphy of nature. Author of 36 sole exhibitions and participant of over 140 group exhibitions – local and international, she has received 34 awards (including honorary mention) at exhibitions and competitions of regional, nationwide and international range.
