Biography:

For over 15 years, André Dubois has contributed to various collective exhibitions such as the 2012, 2013 and 2014 Art Souterrain and the Papier 13 and Papier 14 fairs. He also displayed his art in reputable museums such as the Musée National des Beaux-Arts du Québec, the Musée d’art contemporain de Baie-Saint-Paul, the Musée de la civilisation de Québec and the Museum of American Illustration of New-York. As a solo artist, André exhibited his work at the Maison du Développement Durable, at the Nancy Ma Read Morergolis Gallery of New-York, at the Art Mûr gallery, at the Ubisoft head office, and diverse cultural centers in Montréal. He is currently working on his fifth public art project. Two projects stemmed from the Politique d’intégration des arts à l’architecture et à l’environnement from the Ministère de la Culture du Québec and the other projects originated from the private sector. In September 2017, André was an Artist-in-Residence at the Youkobo Residency Center in Tokyo. In 2018, he was nominated by the Conseil des Arts et Lettres du Québec has the most prominent artist in visual arts in the Montérégie area. In 2020, he will be partaking in the International Printmaking Biennial of Douro. He currently lives and works on Montréal’s South Shore.
