Djenane Pamplona


Djenane Pamplona born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, began her studies in etching in 1982. Works mostly with the female theme, their dreams, sexuality, and freedom. The preferred techniques are aquatint, hard groung, mezzotint and chine colle. Have been participating in more them 40 solo and joint exhibitions in Brazil and abroad in countries as France, Portugal, Canada, Japan, Spain, Argentina, Egypt among others, in some of them several times. In France has participated three times of the Biannual exhibition "Encr Read Moree et Papier" from Charbonnel and Arches where received the prize, Nielsen Bainbridge. Works also as contemporary photographer frequently with pinhole pictures.
