Heather Parrish is a multi-disciplinary visual artist with an ongoing interest in the mutually creative relationship between inhabitant and environment. Through printmaking, experimental photography, and installation with video projection she explores the notion of ‘boundary’ as a porous composite of interior/exterior relationships. Collaboration is an ongoing aspect of her creative work, including projects with scientists, geographers, filmmakers, poets, and activists. She is currently an Assistant Professor of P Read Morerintmaking at the University of Iowa and has exhibited work and given lectures in the United States and internationally
