Jacinthe Tétrault

Biography:

Jacinthe Tétrault lives and works in Montreal. The artist explores subjects in link with the territory such as its transformation, its history and the relation between the man and the nature. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts (1986) from the Université du Québec à Montréal and a diploma in art therapy microprogram from the Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (2018). The artiste is recipient for the Loto-Québec award for the print « Rouge repère » (1999) and received a mention f Read Moreor the sculpture "Bouleau jaune bois d'oeuvre" at the International Biennale of Miniature Art of Témiscamingue (2014). Her work, supported by several grants from the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, is presented in Europe and in America. Her works are part of public and private collections, including The New Orleans Museum of Art, Cleveland Museum, Loto-Quebec, Cirque du Soleil, National Bank of Canada.
