Biography:

Kristina Paabus (USA/EE) is a multidisciplinary visual artist with a focus in printmaking. Paabus earned her BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her work has been exhibited throughout the U.S., Europe, and China; she has participated in numerous artist residencies around the globe; her work can be found in many public and private collections; and she has been a recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship for Installation Art in Estonia, the Grant Wood Fellowship Read Morein Printmaking at The University of Iowa, and an Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Award. A first-generation Estonian-American, Kristina is also a member of the Estonian Artists’ Association and The Association of Estonian Printmakers. Paabus is based in Ohio, USA, where she is an Associate Professor of Studio Art at Oberlin College.
