“Macarena Marín Ramírez was born in Seville, Spain. In 1982 she moved to Palermo, Italy, where she studied Decorative Arts at the State Institute of Art. Later on she atended the Academy of Fine Arts in the same city where she obtained her degree in 1990. From 1998 to 2010 she frequented the Chair of Engraving in the “Scuola Libera del Nudo”, institution at the same Academy. In 2014, she returned to her university studies, obtaining a Master’s degree in History of Art. In 2017 she moved back to her hometown Read Morewhere she currently lives. She has participated in importan graphic collectives in Italy and abroad obtaining awards, recognitions and consensus. Her engravings are present in numerous public and private collections”.
