Mari Hallapuro (b. 1985) is a visual artist and printmaker. She lives and works in Järvenpää, Finland. Hallapuro works mainly with drypoint, mezzotint and line etchings and her works are often inspired by forest sceneries combined with dark imagery. Hallapuro graduated from Finnish Academy of Fine Arts in 2012 receiving her master’s degree in printmaking. Since her graduation, Hallapuro has held solo exhibitions and taken part in joint and curated exhibitions in Finland and has received grants and awards for he Read Morer artistic work. Hallapuro is a member of the Association of Finnish Printmakers. Her works can be found in art collections such as the State Art Collection of Finland and Helsinki Art Museum.
