Melanie’s work focuses on urban and industrialised landscapes. Her drawings and prints explore scenes of derelict and decaying buildings from our industrial past, well-known buildings of our time, and new buildings under construction. She works from observation, drawing on site and then develops her drawings into compelling and atmospheric etchings. Melanie’s work has been exhibited across the UK and internationally, including being selected a number of times for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. Her work is h Read Moreeld in a several collections, including the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, the V&A Museum in London, and the British Museum. Melanie was elected to the Royal Society of Painter Printmakers (RE) in 2017.
