Personal: Michael Farmer was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, into a military family. With his father in the Air Force Michael grew up mostly in Tucson, Az. He attended the University of Arizona, where Michael received a BFA in studio-art. In 2012, Michael moved to Dallas, TX to continue his education at the University of Dallas, where he earned a MFA in Studio-Art in 2015. Art Related: Michael's work is based on recent and historical social topics such as race, war, immigration, and politics. His goal is to show Read Morethe viewer an entangled web of similarities through historical and present models of social dynamics. Thus embracing the viewers gaze, to warm them up to the cold world that is existing around them.
