Michael Farmer was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, into a military family. With his father in the Air Force Michael grew up mostly in Tucson, Az. He attended the University of Arizona, where Michael received a BFA in studio-art. In 2012, Michael moved to Dallas, TX to continue his education at the University of Dallas, where he earned a MFA in Studio-Art in 2015. Michael's work is based on recent and historical social topics such as race, war, immigration, and politics. His goal is to show the viewer an entangled web o Read Moref similarities through historical and present models of social dynamics. Thus embracing the viewers gaze, to warm them up to the cold world that is existing around them.
