Dr. Rafał Urbański (born in 1970, Poland) graduated and got a doctorates degree in Fine Arts from Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, Poland. From 2019 to 2022 he was the president of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers in Kielce. From 2020 to 2022, he was the deputy director of education at the Institute of Visual Arts at Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce. He is a Main Board Member of the Association of Polish Artists in the current term. For over a decade, he has also been working for one of the o Read Moreldest Polish theaters, the Stefan Żeromski Theatre in Kielce. Since 2012, the artist has been making a series of QR art pieces - interactive images combined with digital prints and video. He combines traditional artistic techniques with modern digital ones. He is the recipient of several honours and awards. Dr. Urbanski has exhibited his works internationally in over 180 exhibitions in 28 countries.
