Rowena Božič From Slovenia, born in Kranj 21/09/1961, diploma BSc, lived mostly in Novo mesto, now in Bled. Between 1987 and 2005 attended art courses and workshops in drawing, painting, sculpture, installations, ceramics, and in 1996 the course Modern art: Practises and Debates, Open University, UK. From 1997 to 2015 attended each year printmaking workshops, last three years with artist Hamo Čavrk. Printmaking techniques used are dry-point, etching, aquatint, vernis mou, sugar lift, collagraph, sometimes linocut a Read Morend woodcut. Some solo exhibitions in Slovenia between years 1986 and 2011 (paintings and prints) and many group exhibitions from 1987 to 2014 in Slovenia, last few years print exhibitions also in Bulgaria, Spain, France and UK.
