Sabina Romanin was born in Pordenone, Italy. After graduating in Literature and Foreign Languages at the University of Ca’ Foscari in Venice, she has qualified in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. She has also attended the Faculty of Art at the University of Plymouth (U.K.) on an Erasmus project. She started as an engraver, ranging from traditional techniques to xylography and serigraphy. Recently she has extended her field of research into textile art and experimented artist's books, installation Read Mores, co-operations with designers, mail art, performances.Since 1995, she has participated in many exhibitions, nationally and internationally. Her works are in private and public collections. She has been invited to international art symposiums in Austria, Italy, Poland and Slovenia. She lives and works in Pordenone.
