Susan Rushforth holds a Master of Fine Arts, College of Fine Arts, University of NSW, Sydney. From 1990 -1994, Susan studied Japanese woodblock printing in Japan, including studying under Akira Kurosaki at Seika University in Kyoto. Her Post Graduate research incorporated traditional and contemporary woodblock printing and paper making. In 1994, Susan was awarded a College of Fine Arts, University of NSW, Faculty Research Grant to do research in hand made Japanese paper. Susan has held solo exhibitions in Japan and Read MoreAustralia. Her work has been exhibited in Australia, Asia, Europe and America. Susan’s work has been included in permanent collections in Australia, including the Art Gallery of NSW, Sydney.
