Valeria Bertesina

Biography:

Valeria Bertesina lives and works in Vicenza. She studied at Liceo Artistico Statale di Padova, Università Internazionale dell’Arte di Venezia, Scuola Internazionale di Grafica di Venezia, and attended several international workshops and stages in Europe. Her artistic activities deal with graphics, paintings and artist’s books. She was art director of the artist’s book series La rosa bianca for Damocle Edizioni, Venice, I Diamantini for Il Girasole Edizioni, Catania, and now Amaryllis for Caosfera Edizioni, Vi Read Morecenza. She is a member of I.A.P.M.A. (International Association of Hand Papermakers and Paper Artist). As a curator she is in charge of international art projects, i.e. Di Carta/Papermade (Schio), MiniPrintPaese International exhibition of graphic art, and Mirror - face to face printmakers. She parteciped in many  international graphich art exhibitions (in Portugal, Spain, Romania, Serbia, Bulgaria, Estonia, California,  Brasil, Macedonia, Armenia, Cile, etc). Her artworks are spread in art collections, archives and foundations (Central National Library in Rome, Mart Museum in Rovereto, Rikart Gallery in Helsinky, Costanta Art Museum in Romania).
