Biography:

Yvan LaFontaine Born on November 8, 1943, in Sherbrooke, Canada. Lives and works in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu. Printmaker, painter, computer graphics artist. A graduate of the École des beaux-arts de Montréal, Yvan LaFontaine also holds a Master's degree in Fine Arts from UQAM, where he majored in creation. He also furthered his training in lithography at the Centre de gravure contemporain in Geneva. Award in 2010 purchase price: 17th Biennial North American, Purdue University West LaFayette, IN, USA. 2008 Intern Read Moreational Saint Denys Garneau 2008 to award the book artist IMMERSION 2007 award of the 5th Biennial of Evora., Portugal.
