Carol C. Sánchez, a printmaker, lives and works in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She received her MFA (1996) in Printmaking from the State University of New York at Albany. In graduate school is were she began working in the process of mezzotint, after a week long workshop from a visiting professor from Finland. Her BFA (1990) is from the University of New Mexico, it is there, that she found the love of printmaking particularly lithography. She has an international exhibition record, and her work is included in many Read Moreprivate and public collections including The National Hispanic Cultural Center of New Mexico and Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts in Xi’an China. She has taught as adjunct faculty at the University of New Mexico and Eastern Michigan. She also has taught many private and public workshops. Currently she owns a small Printmaking Studio at the Harwood Art Center in Albuquerque. There she conducts workshops, rents out her press and prints for other artists and printmakers.
