Ioulia Akhmadeeva


Visual Mexican artist. PhD in Arts Education, MFA in Graphic Arts (with Honors) in Surikov Moscow State Academic Art Institute (Russia). Living and working in Mexico since 1994. Working and researching in the area of graphic extended arts, printmaking, artist's book and objects. Principal subject is memory and its register. Member of the National System of Art Creators (2019-2022, SNCA) in Mexico. Has more than one hundred and forty collective exhibitions and fifteen individual shows in different national and inter Read Morenational museums and some awards in the national and international graphics and artist´s book competitions. Her work is in important private and public collections: The Bancroft Library (Berkeley, USA), Special Collections of Stanford University Libraries (USA), Taiwan Museum of Art, (Taichung, China) and others.
