Born in the Gaspé Peninsula (Quebec, Canada), Renée Chevalier holds a Master of Arts degree in painting from the University du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). She is a multidisciplinary artist. She had several solos and group exhibitions. She has been chosen for International events like: Small Print International, U.K., International Contemporary Mini-Print of Kazanlak, Bulgaria where she won the first prize in experimental digital print, CICA Museum, South Korea and Tokyo International Mini-Print Triennial at the Tam Read Morea Art Museum, Japan. She participates regularly at exhibits of the Centre d’artiste Voix Visuelle, Ottawa, Canada where she will have a solo in 2020. Her work can be found in public, private and corporate collections (Japan, Bulgaria, South Korea, Canada). She worked as a development agent in the Visual arts department and Public Art for the city of Montreal. She works as regional expert for l’intégration des arts à l’architecture, for the Government of Quebec.
