Victor J. Gomez, painter and Printmaker was born in the City of Havana , Cuba, 1941. Study at the San Alejandro Fine Arts Academy of said city. He was a member of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba. He has participated profusely in the most important Printmaking Events of the Globe, such as Cuba his native country, Osaka, Kochi and Tama Art University in Japan, Beijing, Lingshi and Guanlan in China, Taipei in Taiwan, PortugaL, , Spain, Puerto Rico, New Zealand  and has been awarded 7 times in these events: Japa Read Moren, China, Puerto Rico, Cuba and the United States, his work is in the Museums and Institutions of the aforementioned countries. His work is found in innumerable public and private collections throughout the world.
