Biography:

Winnie MAK was born in Hong Kong. She lives in Hong Kong, China, and is currently the President of the Hong Kong Union of Visual Artists. Her artworks have been included in the permanent collection of: The Duanghuang Arts Centre, China (2001); The Ratchadamnoen Contemporary Art Center in Bangkok, the Office of Contemporary Art and Culture, the Ministry of Culture of Thailand (2013); The International Printmaking Center of the National Taiwan Normal University (2017); The Diaghilev Museum of Modern Art of the St. P Read Moreetersburg State University (2018); And in Hong Kong: the University Museum and Art Gallery, The University of Hong Kong (2007); Yiqingzhai Studio (2013); The Hongkong Land Limited, and other corporate and private collectors, both locally and internationally. In 2015, she presented her one-person exhibition, titled: Ink - Window to Tranquility at the Lucie Chang Fine Arts in Hong Kong. In 2014, the A GALLERY in Taipei presented her debut exhibition, titled: LINES and BEYOND: Contemporary Ink by Winnie Mak.
