* 1948 Bensberg near Cologne. First artistic education by my father, who was a visual designer, drawer and printmaker. Studies: history, litterature, art history. 1975 - 2009 high school teacher, since 1988 headmaster of a highschool. Since 2000 I continued my practice by studies with Jo Bukowski, Thomas Egelkamp, Volker Altrichter, Pavel Richtr and Stephan Geisler. 2004 artists studio in Düsseldorf-Gerresheim, from 2012 studio in Köln-Dünnwald, ART FACTORY. Main Focus of my work: Colour woodcut, Painting, Ler Mais drawing. Numerous exhibitions in Germany and other countries. I organized and curated numerous exhibitions, e.g. the german international print triennial Frechen. What I am fascinated the most as an artist are the grotesque aspects of life.
