Joshua Johnson was born in Clinton, Iowa in 1984. He received ha BFA in Printmaking from the University of Iowa, and holds an MFA in Printmaking from Northern Illinois University. Primarily working in intaglio and drawing, Joshua creates narrative landscapes that address annihilative human behavior through imagined tableaux. Joshua currently resides in Illinois, where he teaches printmaking and drawing.
