Sara Montani trained at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, in Milan, Italy. Since 1970, her artwork and installations, particularly those focused on social issues, were shown in exhibitions, both personal and collective, in Italy and abroad. Sara’s work represents personal experiences with real objects, using different expressive techniques: from painting to photography, from engraving to sculpture to installations. In 2011 she was invited to show in the Italy Pavilion to Turin of the 54th Venice Biennale. Her works ar Ler Maise present in various private collections and museums in Italy, France, Belgium, Romania, Switzerland, Germany, China, Japan, United States, Poland and Dominica Republic.
