Viktoriya Hnenyuk was born in 1995 in Ukraine. Currently she lives and works in Friuli Venezia Giulia, Italy. She graduated in Visual Arts at Venetian Academy of Fine Arts in 2019. Her works narrate stories, moments and lives of the past incorporating elements of traditions and origins. They are the result of sperimentation and research on symbolism present in traditional embroidery. Each embroidered symbol, in antiquity as still today, has a precise meaning and carries within itself the code of a generation
